Alexis Grinbold is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Southern California. She received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in Communications/English Literature from University of California San Diego. Her research centers on ancient and contemporary healing sites, medicine and mythology. She teaches Art and Art History at various colleges in Southern California is a member of the San Diego Creative Weaving Guild and on the board of directors of the Sugar Museum.
